Radio from Reassembled by Lee Todd Lacks
Shortly after I turned seven, my dad gave me his Sony TFM-8000 table radio, which remained at my bedside for the next eight years. In addition to AM and FM, this radio was also capable of receiving several medium and shortwave bandwidths. Just as my lamp dispelled the darkness, my radio dispelled the silence, warding off the nocturnal spirits that can only be detected by an overanxious child.

My user switches me to life.
With my vinyl snout,

From the energy feeder.

and I struggle to receive signals
from the Wavemakers.
I can translate all known languages
