Growing up in a rich multi-cultural environment and being raised by a mother who was a dedicated music collector, it seemed inevitable that Rushmo would become a DJ/Producer.
He is also a professional Sound Engineer and has traveled internationally with some of the most recognized and influential musicians in South Africa, including Hugh Masekela.
