Toxic Blood by District Five
The second single release «Toxic Blood» from the upcoming record «Burnt Sugar» by the Zurich based band District Five evidently portrays their great love for hip hop and new soul. The dreamy-pensive song that towards the end takes a gloomy turn tells no weedy tale of happiness but opens up the casket to the darker moments in life, without trying to find a solution in the hole: “I feel doomed, doomed, doomed, I don’t bloom, bloom, bloom”. We are left with only one thing to do: listen. To the track and to oneself.
