Statue Procession from Flicker & Swirl by Dishpan Fingers

Living in England made me homesick for Australia. The title references my children's fear of a man sprayed in copper hues, or maybe it was golden tones, but they wouldn't give him any money, too frightened to go close to this statute. I was os nervous living there, my hands became covered in warts, it disappeared when I returned home. I think a smile formed on my face as my plane lifted off the tarmac. But I did like the English and their ales. I even had a soft spot for Tesco.

Introspective narratives tinged with melancholy undertones and melodic vocal hooks. An acoustically-driven performance with lo-fi leanings and a lyrical transparency. Dishpan Fingers laments the unburied ghosts and awkward moments, but stops to notice the important things, like supermarket specials, bluestone walls and factories ... also people.
