I catch up to the speed
In the sky the music
And in my heart the seed

I look out from my window
At the silver clouds above
In the deepest part of town

It’s all about to happen
the story of you and me

Like it has for centuries

What I want to tell you
might have made me stay
Is there something chasing us
Or did we run away

A thousand tiny universes
Sink into the sun
Every time a star is born it thinks
I could be the one

Did you mean to text me
Or was it just your friend
Is it best to tell the truth
Or should we just pretend
