Diogo Strausz, renowned for his extraordinary contributions to the world of funk and disco, delivers fantastic guitar grooves interlaced with phased rhythmic elements that are sure to get some shoulders moving. His impeccable craftsmanship and innovative production skills, honed from a young age in Rio de Janeiro, have seen him rise to international acclaim as a music producer and multi-instrumentalist.

Having already carved out an impressive career, Strausz has worked with a range of artists and labels, showcasing his versatile talent. As part of the duo Balako, his music has been released on Razor-N-Tape, Barefoot Beats, and Greco-Roman, earning the admiration of Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard.

His tracks have resonated globally, with airplay from Gilles Peterson on BBC 6 and Bill Brewster, and praise from XLR8R. Strausz's recent work includes the celebrated orchestral piece Pausa, collaborations with Brazilian indie artists like Castello Branco and Alice Caymmi, working with Mario Caldato Jr. of The Beastie Boys, co-producing the album Les Bruits de La Ville for French artist Voyou, and remixing for Brazilian legend Gal Costa.

Nic Hanson, the Philadelphia-born American singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist, joins Strausz on this latest track. Hanson’s signature R&B/pop sound, combined with his ability to blend
soul, dance, funk, rock, salsa, and hip-hop, brings a unique flair to this collaboration. Known for his eclectic style and international collaborations, such as tracks with Moon Boots, Moods, and Kraak &
Smaak, Hanson’s contributions elevate the track to new heights, making it an unmissable warm weather anthem this year.
