Heyyo! Thanks for checking out my album!
In this one, the goal was to create energy through what was supposed to be a mix of baroque and electronica but ended up mostly sounding like post 80s sci fi.
My other goal was to create something that you can actually listen to without having to count the beats to know where to bop your head - consequence of listening to a lot of old skool hip hop and Radiohead lately, and to a lot less prog metal.
Also, you may ask, why Child's Play? The album is full of contrasts, going from metal to electronic to jazz and then back to industrial hip hop with no censorship, both in the creative process and the compositions. It's something I've come to properly understand as of late; it might sound cheesy but it's true: Music (art?) is a land of total freedom. Grab a piano (a camera? a canvas?) and just tickle it, you'll feel infinitely better.
