Diamond Wölf was founded in 2013 by guitarist/singer Lipsy, and drummer Sam, two high-school's friends, in Brittany. Joined afterward by Anton (guitar) and Stivell (bass), the quartet plays an Old School influenced Heavy Metal inspired by bands like Iron Maiden, Skull Fist, Enforcer and Mötley Crüe. The band realeased a two songs EP in 2016 titled Diamonized.
