I was testing out some pedals one night and wound up writing this song. I recorded it in a hurry, and wrote the lyrics a few weeks later.

I wish that I could recall the first time I removed my mind
It was an accident, but dang if it didn't feel so fine
I've managed to repeat the feat a dozen times or so
I like to think that it gets better with every go
A little numbness and lost time
A black hole for the soul
It takes a special person with special skills
and as luck would have it, I can teach 'em to you
All it takes is a steady hand and a bit of blood
The will power to see it through is a pre-requisite
Of course it hurts a lot, this isn't some new-age gimmick
but once your brain is unplugged, I guarantee it's worth it
I've got it all figured out
I'll lead the way
I've done this before.
