Brideland by Devin and the Dark Light
The songs are extremely personal to me and talk of deep bonding, from those love fights to quiet moments, to acceptance and the depths of spiritual domesticity. All money from the sales will be donated to the Shepard's Cupboard Food Bank in Shelburne, Ontario. It is the town where I teach high school. Interacting with teens daily I can see where and when the food bank helps them and their families. And it really does make a difference. Especially now, as we move into a phase where people are losing their jobs, struggling to keep families together and kids fed. Please consider buying the album and helping out. Devin and the band project the Dark Light has been making and releasing music since 2005. The plan is to never end. But we'll see. As long as there is love and death and a drive to find the meaning of everything through music, it may keep going. I hope so. Currently located in Creemore, Ontario.
