Dear Sierra by Katie Eikam
This is a love letter to the Sierra Nevadas, my home. The album is a humble viewpoint of memories, experiences, and native histories. Each field recording is titled in the Washoe language as I wanted to honor the land and with the language of first people there.
Dear Sierra was mostly recorded with a zoom and mixed at home.
