This EP is an exploration of the J-Ambient genre and Romance/Slice of Life anime soundtracks. It was thoroughly inspired by artists/composers like Kensuke Ushio, Lullatone, Yojiro Noda/RADWIMPS, [.que], Dom Mino', Triodust, Hiroshi Yoshimura, and Paniyolo, and by anime soundtracks like A Silent Voice, Your Name., Tada Never Falls In Love, Nisekoi, My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999, Horimiya, A Sign of Affection, and Toradora.

Derek Best is a 25 year old Producer, Composer, Songwriter, and Multi-Instrumentalist from Central Pennsylvania. He likes to dabble in Digital Fusion, Electronic, Hip-Hop, Ambient, Classical, Jazz, and Folk sounds.
