Red from Nightmares & Dreamscapes by Delusions of Madness

The field is full of flowers and the forest full of wolves
The sky is full of broken dreams that test my hungry soul
Green leaves all surround the poppies dressed in red
Inviting me to visit the dreams inside my head

The dreams they are a comfort that soon give in to fear
As shadows start to circle dark clouds start to appear
The struggle begs confusion since it’s not yet begun
The teeth and fur incite my courage to come undone

The flowers thirst for water the wolves await their prey
And the sky will bear witness to what happens here today
As sleep overcomes me the wolves start closing in
My dreams will give away to the feast as it begins
