Pressure for connection when we’re not together
Sitting on a mountainside you’re sleeping in my sweater
Do you think of me when you’re running errands?
Do you think about it?

Cause I’m counting on it

Distance, heart grows fonder, all my longing just gets longer
Counting seconds, checking days, thinking of the different ways to
Touch it, feel you, think that I’m the one to heal you
Pull the ocean out to sea, pull your lips now close to me

Counting on it

Pressure for connection when we’re not together
Necklace banging on my chest I cross it for protection
Miles, distance seems like something’s missing
Do you spend your time like every day’s a blessing?
