What terrors await today
Shall I die again

Talons of deadly stone

A falcon
Of pure obsidian
Come to destroy

But the claws swiftly rip it apart
His eyes pierce through the broken wood
A murderous glare I behold

In fear I turn to flee
But he catches me in his beak
In terror I squirm
I ask again, what comes after death?

In swift motion I escape
My claws find his eyes
The hunter maimed

Am I condemned
All hope is lost
In time I’ll die
Maybe then I can leave this life
