Fate/Light by DECEITS
Fate/Light offers two contrasting but soulful expressions of post-punk sounds.
Fate is a romantic new-wave inspired love song about the fear of losing the one you love, but finding reassurance that they will always be with you when you think of them. Fate's sound is directly influenced by the romantic song from bands like The Cure, The Sound, Sad Lovers & Giants and For Against.
Guiding Light is a darker German/90's goth inspired track which is about the search for hope during dark times and takes musical cues from Remain In Silence, The Chameleons, The Danse Society and Mephisto Walz .
As a bonus we've also included an Alternate 80's Demo Mix of Guiding Light that was produced by the lovely James Edwards of Male Tears along with a demo version of our song Failures.
