A meadow lies beyond this field of thorns
Although my feet are bleeding, I've already come this far

Stuck between two chapters
I can't progress while reading the same old pages
I may never get the answers
But I'm done with asking these questions

The mist is starting to clear
My journey's reaching it's end
And while my scars may never truly fade
They've become part of my tapestry

Swimming round in circles only to end up where I started
And get engulfed by the waves
As the storm begins to calm, I see a light in the distance
Showing me the exit

No longer floating aimlessly
Hoping to someday reach the shore
