Aspirations by dead lizard grin
Even after her passport was finally renewed by a virus-slowed government agency, there is nowhere for us to go. "You can't get there from here" no longer a humorous aside, but a way of life.
Tabs of "Music For Nine Post Cards" and "Zeit" and "On Land" gently drown out this zoo overfull with animals manically pacing their cages, screaming pointlessly into the void.
Suitably inspired, I build escape routes through the broken, deficient reality into others where at least they are of my own devising.
