Aldebaran (single) by dead lizard grin

"Aldebaran" is an original blend of human creativity and AI innovation. I wrote the lyrics (based on a poem I penned on a faraway beach in 1995), and the music and vocals were generated using AI directed by my prompts. I also played additional instruments and handled the final arrangement and mix. As a bonus for Bandcamp listeners, I've included the B-side "Textures."

AI will not be the new default for my music, although it is an interesting tool. "Music For Films 2" will be released in June and will be a more traditional DLG album.

I grew up in the Midwest of America. I've lived in the remote Manu'a Islands in the South Pacific and Southern California.

My youth was experienced through the sonic lens of '70s European electronic music, the ambient sounds of Eno, and the darker side of '80s new wave, post punk, and new romantic.

Today, I create the soundtrack for my life; an accompaniment for the existence that I've known.
