There's a painting inside of my heart
drenched in colors my eyes can't imagine
swirling hues weaving through the dark
where the shadows make light of perspective
this vision that I want to share -
it makes me what I am.

There's a calling inside of my soul
getting lost in cacophonous music
all the different tunes that ring out
grind together to one simple rhythm
this song that never touched your ears -
it makes me what I am.

There's a place where I'd like to roam
to be at peace with the beasts inside me
all these instincts and directions they pull
where am I? Who am I? Can you see me?
these creatures, their needs and desires -
they make me what I am.
