Blue Chaos by David Brown

This pair of pieces use source material generated by self regulating feedback systems that are prolated into a canon as the structural basis for composition. All other sounds were placed to complement & accentuate the chaotic form of those tracks. Composition notes with tuning details are available as bonus items for people interested in such things.

David Brown received his MFA in Music from the Center for Contemporary Music at Mills College in Oakland, California where he studied composition with Anthony Braxton & Kenneth Gaburo and music & information theory with David Rosenboom. His compositions & sound designs combine found sounds with acoustic and electronic instruments to create sound collages of orchestral density.
