# STARDUST CIRCUIT

We recorded "Stardust Circuit" during three electric months where everything in our lives seemed to exist in that magic hour between sunset and true dark. You know that feeling when streetlights just flicker on, and possibilities feel endless? That's our album.

We wanted to bottle that bittersweet rush when you're falling for someone new while knowing it might not last. The music pops with synths that sparkle like city lights reflecting off rain-slicked streets, but listen closer and you'll catch the ache beneath the hooks.

"Neon Autotomy" came to life after Emma spotted two strangers meeting on a dancefloor at 2AM – that electric moment when eyes lock across the room. We built it around this killer guitar riff that Josh couldn't stop playing in soundcheck. When we added those arpeggios in the chorus, we knew we had something special.

For "Velour Requiem," we actually recorded vocals in Marc's car during a downpour. The rain hitting the roof created this natural rhythm we ended up keeping in the final mix. Something about trading lines back and forth in that small space captured exactly what we wanted – intimacy that feels both real and somehow impossible to keep.

With "Heliotropic Tendencies," we experimented with recording techniques we'd never tried before. Mia brought in this broken music box from her grandmother's house that gives the outro its haunting quality. The lyrics about bending toward flames came after a late-night conversation about how we're all drawn to things that might hurt us.

The whole album pulses with that contradiction – the euphoria of connection against the knowledge that everything fades. We layered in little sonic Easter eggs throughout – vinyl crackle, snippets of voicemails, even the sound of an ice cube cracking in a glass during "Serrated Sundial."

"Stardust Circuit" is us at our most honest. It's for dancing with strangers, driving with the windows down at midnight, or sitting alone watching city lights flicker on one by one. We poured everything into these seven tracks – all the glitter and all the bruises.
