David Toop is a musician, writer, curator and educator. He has been developing a practice that crosses boundaries of sound, listening, music and materials since 1970. Artists he has worked with include Rie Nakajima, Thurston Moore, Ryuichi Sakamoto and Ania Psenitsnikova. He has released music on labels including Brian Eno's Obscure, David Sylvian's samadhisound and Lawrence English's ROOM40.
