VL MUSIK by David Miles Huber

(1982/2019) Started in 1982, VL-MUSIK was an experiment to make musik using a toy, the Casio LV-Tone (which doubled as a calculator and appeared on numerous albums over the decades). Most importantly,it represents a period in DMH’s life that was molded by the disco scene, leather and general youth.

In 2002, the original 8-track tape was transferred to digital for further production, but the files remained “on the shelf”. Finally, in 2019, the tracks were completed, using state-of-the-art technology to bring the songs full-circle.

David Miles Huber is a 4X Grammy-nominated producer and musician in the electronic dance and surround-sound genres, whose music has sold over the million mark. His style is energized and balanced out by lush beats and live acoustic instruments that combine to create a “Zen-meets-Tech experience”.
