Run till the feeling can’t find you
Hide from the truth
Hide from yourself

Run till your legs cannot carry you
Burry the proof
Lie to yourself

Twisted fingers, funeral pictures
Like a sister, after mass
Untold stories of a lover
Stoic figure, 10 years past
Memories of us together
Lefsa butter, walking cast
Summer fades into September
And your body will sink
With the season’s blink

A picture of you
Standing on Grey Ocean Blue
Reflection splitting with the tide
It looks like Duluth
The water extends beyond view
And draws a line against the sky

Run to Duluth
