ZZ CHOP

There's a Sawmill way out in the woods
With a Sawyer and crew that knew they always could
Deal with any old order that came down the line
But the scrap wood and sawdust was always out of line.

There a Swing Saw, Chop Saw that cuts up the slabs
and makes firewood starter out of all the scraps
The operator looks a lot like "ZZ TOP"
But we all call him Mr. ZZ CHOP!

So, ZZ....ZZ CHOP! Was never a "Sharp Dressed Man"
With his overalls and Tank Tops and Farmers Tan!
He kept the boards clear to run free
and kept the load off T.H.E. Eddie! The Man!

When ZZ Wasn't there, he was surely missed
Eddie had two jobs then and slower they went
He Had to Unload and run the swing saw all at once
And Mark had to slow the pace and allow the time spent.

When ZZ Showed up, they almost hugged him!
Needed was the word but Missed was the Define
ZZ's Beard was very long and dangerous around all that saw'in.
Tie that mane back ZZ before you get sucked in!
