Dream Cage is the second full-length release from David Goosey—an album that flickers between the political and the personal, the surreal and the sincere. Drawing from a palette of dream pop, psych-folk, synthwave, and outsider art rock, this collection explores the cages we build: of thought, of memory, of sleep.
With shifting time signatures, vintage drum machines, spectral synths, and haunted harmonies, the album invites listeners into a world of watchers and sleepwalkers, hollow cities and blind angels.
From the dystopian nursery-rhyme of “Building Up the Perfect Toy” to the aching late-night glow of “Asleep With the TV On”, each track offers a fragment of a larger psychic landscape—one shaped by myth, media, politics, and personal ghosts.
