Walking along the beach by The Pinnacles on K'gari, Queensland back in 2000, I could feel movement around my bare feet & something rub against my leg. I lit the lantern I was carrying & found the beach covered in cane toads. A dingo had brushed against me & continued on its way. An eerie moment that has stayed with me...
