Persistence by David Borgo
A program of nine original compositions for improvising ensemble that reflect on life's journey. Embarking on a Pilgrimage, becoming more Segmented, arriving at a Tabula Rasa and some Peace of Mind. Realizing the Blues Implication of life and the unyielding march of Senescence, one can still develop a Relational View and achieve Eudaimonia (well-being, happiness, and flourishing) through Persistence.

David Borgo is a saxophonist specializing in original modern jazz and improvisation. He has a PhD in ethnomusicology and is a Professor of Music at the University of California San Diego. David has toured extensively, including performances in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North, Central, and South America, and has released eleven CDs and one DVD of original music on a variety of labels.
