Lab Work by Dave Hartl
I do so much live playing in a variety of settings that I dedicated my 4th album to be made in the studio, never worrying about playing it live. I did a Todd Rundgren trip and played as many parts as I wanted, only using a rhythm section on 3 cuts, and Masahiro Fujioka on sax on 3 numbers.
This album took 11 years to make, and it's my favorite.
