Last Leg from Climbin' Away by Dave Hadfield

Dave's father Roger Hadfield flew the DC-8 for most of his career at Air Canada. His 1994 retirement flight was also the retirement flight of that aircraft with the airline. This song idea came from brother Chris, with writing input from Dave and Phillip -- all jet pilots.

Dave Hadfield has written and played songs all his life, but first gained attention with his Album "Northern Breeze" in 1997. This unique set of songs about Canada's wilderness was full of stories and characters. They resonated with anyone who has camped or spent time at a cottage.
Dave is a pilot, wilderness-tripper, sailor and boatbuilder as well -- he lives life to the fullest.
