Saam Strings by Dave Godfrey
Dave Godfrey's debut album of electric phin music. The electric phin is a three stringed instrument from Thailand, combining elements of an acoustic phin and an electric guitar. It can be tuned a variety of ways; Dave usually chooses to tune his electric phin EBE. The dragon-shaped headstock of the electric phin is a depiction of a naga.

Dave Godfrey is a mult-instrumentalist who specializes primarily in fretted stringed instruments. While he originally played guitar and bass in hard rock bands, he now spends more time playing electric phin, bouzouki, mandolin, and Appalachian dulcimer. Dave was enchanted by the sound of the electric phin and decided to focus on building a catalog of songs based on this wonderful instrument.
