the world is heavy and dark lately. i really felt the need to release something, both literally and figuratively. here are four brief ambient pieces that capture my current headspace.
while not intentional at the time, to me these sounds have a certain Lynchian quality to them, and evoke 'the void' from Season 3 Episode 8 of Twin Peaks. they are presented here as a tribute to the light that recently left us, David Lynch, as well as a celebration of the ceasefire, a response to the horror of the fires in california, and grieving for the future that we're on the precipice of losing thanks to the man that will be sworn in as president in less that 24 hours.
