Conditions by Dataphase

Vojtech Groot aka Dataphase from Usti nad Labem presents his first physical release "Conditions" on the Chemnitz-based tape label IN:EX.
Musically the different ideas about sound design, acoustic physics as well as experiences with developing new instruments by himself work together. With a computer, Akai S2000, Korg Monologue, and self-built modular systems, Dataphase faces the situational mood of his variable musical experimental arrangement anew every time. What emerges is always the result of the conditions of its possibility, stolen from many circumstances, thus broken in itself, mirrored and lifted anew. Talking about it is difficult and quickly comes across as pretentious. In any case, it's groovy breaks and beats, very close to the dance floor and yet always standing next to it in analysis with an ironic alienation, playful and lost in the complexity of the contexts
