"Several listeners have, over the past few years, requested that I compose a longer length piece. And I must admit that there's many a time when I've listened to another artist's work and thought that some tracks deserved a much longer length. I do like the idea that, when I create a piece of music, any small portion in the track contains the essence of its entirety. I find that this kind of continuity creates a tranquil and relaxing effect, much like the ambience you might find within the limited radius of a quiet meadow or forest setting. I've worked with this idea in First Light, and hope that you find the result to your liking." Robert Davies
