I was given the opportunity to travel time
there was a group of us waiting for a guide
walking with the other travelers I heard one say
look through the chowder, see yourself on the journey and never look away
after some time I saw myself
dressed in patterns as it happens until the moon found something else
to shine on it was a Tuesday when I followed the magic through
followed a whisper to a struggle and then I found you
on the playground there were sisters starting a song
with harmonies likened to a mountain with echos long enough
to wonder will it travel back to shore
at the mouth of the river where it swallows every word as if before
the other travelers learned to say
look through the chowder see yourself on the journey and never look away
