Rural/Urban by Dan MacDonald

Rural/Urban has been a long time coming. In creating this solo project, I wanted to reflect my great fortune and experience playing this music with such a diverse cast of characters and geographical settings, not only in my choices of material but also the musicians and the manner in which the record is out together. As a wandering musician I have always found that the different styles I've adapted to have served to help me grow and have informed and strengthened my own approach, making my own tradition ever stronger. THis is a record of that journey.
