It has been a real pleasure to collaborate with Mukmuk records to release these pieces of music.
Mukmuk has an array of fantastic artists that combine delicate textures of sounds, field recordings and experimental instruments, which produces a unique sound of music that is reflective and soothing.
I've been massively inspired from this genre of music for a long time, so it is a really cool feeling to be amongst these lovely artists.
Islands was created from the point of view of children, and how they look at the World with a sense of purity, curiousity and innocence, which sadly gets lost as we grow older. Islands hopes to depict a fictional imagination in our minds where we, as adults, can get back to this place.
His sole intention is to create a space for the listener to immerse, reflect, meditate and find peace, in whatever way that may be through this music.
Soft pads, electric guitar drenched in reverb and delay, along with some experimental sounds are all thrown into some looping hardware to create a dreamy/messy/etheral ambient sound.
