Partial Reticulation by Daniel Powell

Each piece on this album is built using a technique in which I break a single sonic element into it's component partials, and then map new timbral material onto that harmonic latticework. Since natural overtones are never static, nor even perfect multiples of each other, this sort of spectral deconstruction reveals the inner workings of what would usually be heard as a single sonic entity.
