Stay afloat I say to myself
As the riptide takes me out
Now I go below the undertow

I try to keep my head bobbin up
While the water fills my lungs
My purple face is now turning black
And now I think now I'm about to explode

Now I am too far out in the sea
And All the people look so small
I've drifted way too far from the pack and
Now I'm drowning all alone

Would all people of the people on the beach
Even notice that I have gone
They're shielded by their fancy surfboards and all I got is this little skimboard
