A lamp cast a shadow onto the wall
Distorting figures rise and fall

Lights switched on that were switched off
Telephone’s ringing, alarms that go off
Communicating through some means
Feeling the fear but seldom seen

The sound of footsteps to an exit door
Open windows, creaking floors
In the daylight they tend to roam the streets
To return to until they meet
I don’t deny their existence
Necromancy resistance
