Writ Small by Carl and the Uncertainties
Carl says: Carl and the Uncertainties was created with the aim to rectify the difference between two of my previous disparate musical outlets: songwriting and ambient music. It was an effort to create the space where they could meet and coexist together. Composed of super slow pop songs that devolve out of song structure, juxtaposed with more abstract compositions, the focus is on tone, textures, and vibe. It’s psychedelic, sparse, and intimate and is my most vulnerable album to date.
