When I put my ears to Brasil I find myself immediately dreaming. Adventurous, sensual, majestic, exotic. Brasilian music can capture your imagination and set it free in a world of sonic wonderment. If you don't understand the language you won't find yourself alienated or lost but strangely drawn into it's fluidity and grace.
These eleven tracks span the post-Tropicalia rock movement of the 1970's and include Marcos Valle, Jorge Ben, Gal Costa, Erasmo Carlos, Mutantes, Pepeu Gomes, Arthur Verocai, Miguel de Deus, and Som Imaginario.
