Crunch Pod is proud to present the new album titled, 怨霊 by the incredible project named 自己破壊. Created by Japanese & Russian based producers Kenshin (JPN) & Marshall (RUS). Having honed their skills with collaborations, experimentation and various productions over the last 6 years, 自己破壊 now present us with an incredible mixture of dark industrial, breakcore, glitch, IDM, dark ambient, and abstract electronics cast together with a nihilistic cyberpunk aura.
Though based in 2 different countries, producers Kenshin (JPN) & Marshall (RUS) share a mutual inspiration by the negative side of life, mythology and nihilism. The music they create is not meant for dancing or "fun" but rather for self reflection, awareness and understanding of the different facets of life. Taking cues from destroyed architecture, abandoned places, anger, hatred, depression and sometimes even glitch-art, the two try to recreate their experiences and flesh out the most negative and "dead" thoughts in every track, culminating in a massive and impressive sound exploration.
