Endurance, aka Muzan Editions proprietor Joshua Stefane, joins Canadian duo PJS -- Jordan Christoff and Patrick Dique -- for a trio of calming meditations. Endurance leads on the a-side with two cosmic excursions: "Outside" resonates and shimmers, while "Waystation" offers surprisingly noirish and textured impressions of hazy dusk. On the b-side, PJS reflects elements of both in the appropriately named "Parallels," Christoff and Dique sailing beautifully in-between the two palettes that Endurance explores. Based on details of a photo taken by Stefane with long-expired 1984 Fuji Film, even the j-card artwork seems to weave together with the sound.
