there's a crack in my tooth
tried to chew, but my root
trembles and aches and cries and shakes

the food looks delightful

a skeleton takes my food
and it must've ate
the last of my favorite pie

The food waste on the floor
i drool as i hurriedly crawl
i scoop and scoop and scoop
bite my fingers while i'm in this stew

then i stare at it
complicated and defeated
"even in my dreams, you taunt me"
"and make me feel like a dog"

it turns its head with a sigh
"dramatic, again? with a lie?"
i heave and heave and heave and cry
when i wake up i hope to die

i'm half-mad, half-chewed out
exhausted and stressed out
a piece of you is stuck in my tooth
and i'm sawing through it to get you out

here we are again
i wish you were my friend
but you consumed what i couldn't hold
now i'm craving you again
