Live by Cousin Silas & Kevin Lyons
The tracks were recorded over a period of days during the latter part of July 2019 in the Silas Shithole Studio. The techniques involved were basically switch on record and go. Most of the solo material was created with a guitar and the Fishman Triple Play. The three Silas/Lyons live ones were created with this as well as guitar and synths, depends on who got on what first.
As can be imagined (or not) we had a truly great time and hopefully this won't be the last, although 2020 has curtailed it for this year.
The tracks on this are, in some places, ambient, others more experimental. There are hints and nods towards our previous work (all on WAAG), but we feel it's different enough to stand alone from our SF/Horror/Fortean material to warrant 'some' interest.
Each and every track was recorded in one take, purely improvised and contain no overdubs or editing apart from the odd fade out here and there.
