"Almost every part of this track comes from the same sonic source: a field recording of my friend Lorena shivering. I recorded her teeth as they chattered one morning years ago at our home in Barcelona. I’ve used the sample a few times while playing live with other projects of mine, but in this case I decided to take it even further and build a song almost entirely out of that sample, using different effects to create a variety of textures and rhythms. In a way, this song talks about my weekends after I came back to Barcelona. It deals with escapism—with moments where it all seems light and fun, but deep down there seems to be a fissure that might never get fixed". - Sergi A.C.
