"Just like with “Èxtasi”, this track was built out of a sample I recorded in the apartment where I lived in Valencia. The upstairs neighbors were remodelling the house and we could hear noises every single day, which exhausted us. One day I decided to record the racket made by the construction workers and, after applying some weird effects on the sounds, the song began coming together. I’m glad the record ends this way. Usually, whenever I’ve worked on a musical project I’ve ended the record with some optimism—with a bit of light. I think this is because of how I am and it makes sense for me to do it this way. This time, it’s a bit different, although the name “Reforma” (“remodelling”, which makes reference to the construction upstairs) seems to give a new perspective to the character (to me)—a new form, a new reality, a starting point after these uncertain times where we’ve been so lost". - Sergi A.C.
