Mouvements Nocturnes by Zakè

'Mouvements Nocturnes' represents two long-form pieces that were created during late-night sessions in the Summer of 2020. A complete departure of how zakè typically writes (the early hours of morning), Mouvements Nocturnes were created in the darkness of night and intended for late-night listening when the world settles in and quiets itself where a moment of peace and silence abounds. All field recordings were also captured during late-night excursions; midnight streams and insects singing in the humid, moonlit backdrop.

Mouvements Nocturness embody textural subtleties that envelope the listener, allowing them to get lost in the quiet of the night. Multiple layers of manipulated field recordings and slightly luminous synth work delicately converge, producing just under forty minutes of all-encompassing, angelic night drones.

These are familiar, nostalgic sounds for those who yearn for the late-night warmth in these colder days.
